I assumed it was a minor issue so I refreshed my PC. I am not sure if I received an update or not. Two weeks ago I started to get Video TDR Failures, to the point were the PC is unusable as it freezes up two to five times a minute and I have a Dell Venue with an Intel Atom CPU z3740D running Windows 10 Home version 1607 OS Build 14393.187. It should also be noted that the intel graphics manager GUI could not be accessed/installedĪppears there seems to be a conflict between MS/Intel code signing for Vitualization The correct Intel driver was showing as a code 43 - with a comment further installation required.įollowed all the standard checks update/rollback etc, still no joy Managed to address this problem via registry changes - BUT this is a side effect - the cause Noticed that the MS generic driver was in use and showing it as using an Incorrect Recommended Default setting size !!!! Hopped into the Personalization screen size settings to investigate, easy fix so i thought. Note this does not appear until ANY UPGRADE is installed After an install of an IP release i was confronted with a non-standard screen view,
